Mary Ann Kenny Pidgeon, a member of the firm, will join Mercer County Surrogate Diane Gerofsky, as a speaker on the topic of “Navigating New Jersey Estate Administration” at Xtreme CLE, a two-day continuing legal education program sponsored by the Mercer County Bar Association in cooperation with the New Jersey Law Journal, which is to be held at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal. Mrs. Pidgeon’s presentation is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2008. All attendees will receive 2.0 PA/NY/NJ ETHICS credits

John Pidgeon has been appointed attorney for the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Rahway. Earlier this year Mr. Pidgeon was appointed attorney for the Rahway Planning Board and he continues to serve as the Bernardsville Borough Attorney and the Long Hill Township Attorney.

Mary Ann Pidgeon recently participated in an informational event for seniors and caregivers at Buckingham Place, an assisted living facility in South Brunswick. Mrs. Pidgeon’s presentation was entitled “Advance Directives, Living Wills, Powers of Attorney: What You Need to Know.”

Mary Ann Pidgeon, a member of the Firm and Kimberlee Phelan, CPA, MBA of
Withum, Smith and Brown, P.C., recently presented a seminar before the
Princeton Bar Association. At the seminar, which was held at the Nassau Club on
January 16, 2007, Ms. Phelan discussed real estate tax issues and Mrs. Pidgeon
discussed real estate and the estate tax.

John Pidgeon has been appointed attorney for the Washington Township
Municipal Utilities Authority. Mr. Pidgeon was also recently reappointed as the
Bernardsville Borough Attorney and the Long Hill Township Attorney.

John Pidgeon has joined the Board of Trustees of the Plainsboro Non Profit
Housing Corporation, which owns and operates Wyndhurst at Plainsboro, a 126
unit low- and moderate-income apartment complex in Plainsboro, New Jersey.

is pleased to announce that Mary Ann Kenny Pidgeon has been
awarded an LLM (Master of Laws) in Taxation by the Villanova University
School of Law. This graduate degree will enable Mrs. Pidgeon, who received
her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers/Newark Law School, to better serve
our clients in the areas of estate planning and administration and business
planning.

John R. Pidgeon's Diplomate in New Jersey Local Government
Law was recently renewed by Rutgers University and the New Jersey Institute
of Local Government Attorneys. Mr. Pidgeon was originally awarded a
Diplomate in New Jersey Municipal Law after completing 84 hours of classes
in legal aspects of land use, legal aspects of municipal labor relations,
municipal tort liability, public lands and buildings, legal aspects
of municipal procedure and legal aspects of municipal finance. In order
to renew his Diplomate, Mr. Pidgeon completed continuing legal education
courses in the new stormwater regulations, New Jersey lien laws, construction
law, land use law and title insurance law.
